Retired Protocol Versions

SMQP (JMS)

Support for SMQP protocol versions older than v750 (introduced in release 7.5.0) has been removed in this update. It's important for users to verify if they still have JMS clients operating on these older versions before upgrading. This can be checked by examining the sys$jms/usage through the CLI or the SwiftMQ Explorer App. This verification step is crucial to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted service when upgrading to the new version.

Management

The management protocol version v400, introduced in SwiftMQ release 4.0.0, has been removed in the current update. The current protocol version is v750. Version v400 was primarily used by very old legacy SwiftMQ Explorer clients. Since the legacy SwiftMQ Explorer has been retired, no specific action is required from users in relation to this change.
